Published by the Folio Society, London in 1975. This is the second published edition, reset from the 1958 Folio edition. The works sit within the publisher's original slipcase. Slipcase faintly soiled, but is overall in good condition and is an attractive set of novels by Jane Austen completed in her lifetime, that are decoratively bound in quarter grey cloth with gilt titles and designs, and multi-colored stamped paper over boards. Wood engravings, including the frontispieces are by Joan Hassall and an introduction by Richard Church.
The set includes: Sense and Sensibility; Pride and Prejudice; Mansfield Park; Emma; Northanger Abbey; Persuasion; and Shorter Works.
