The contents are clean and clear with light toning to pages and spotting here and there. All colour plates present along with tissue guards.
Written by well-known illustrator Arthur Rackham, he has taken over the author role with the book being illustrated by one of his peers - Mackenzie - who provides both black and white, as well as colour illustrations throughout the book.
