Published by William Heinemann, 1916.

The book is in very good condition with the publisher's green cloth with green stamped titles to the front and spine, gilt stamped vignette of the Griffin and the Mock Turtle to the front and dark green publisher's device to the rear. Top edge green, pictorial green and white endpapers with Rackham '07 in the bottom left hand corner. 12 coloured illustrations with captioned tissue-guards (all plates and captioned tissue-guards are present and in excellent condition), and 14 black and white illustrations by Arthur Rackham. The boards are lightly rubbed on the corners.

This is the second impression [1916] with the first UK edition being published in 1907. However, it still includes the front end paper, which promotes Rip Van Winkle on the reverse at 15s net.
