The book is in very good condition with the publisher's green boards with gilt titles, red Welsh dragons and floral illustration. There is minimal rubbing and marks to the boards and spine.
The book is a labour of love combining poet Edward Thomas' inimitable prose, which includes descriptions of local customs, songs, poem, observations, and more with Robert Fowler's lovely paintings of rural Wales. It contains 74 colour plates.
