Published by the Folio Society, London in 1989.
The book is in excellent condition bound with quarter cloth with paper sides with gilt titles on backstrip and front. Numerous black and white illustrations. The slip case box shows just some rubbing wear, a few smudge marks, no tears, but a previous price sticker remains on the side (pictured).
This is an extensive selection of Franklin's personal writings from throughout his life, from his days as an apprentice, to his time in France, and his retirement.
