Original quarter-pictorial cloth with burgundy leather spine, with top edge in burgundy. This three-volume set includes an illustrated frontispiece, plus 16 illustrations by John Vernon Lord. Each volume contains classic tales of chivalry, magic, saints and heroes from the British Myths and Legends, including Robin Hood, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Merlin, Beowulf, Saint George, and other favourites.
The set is in excellent, like-new condition, with very minimal shelfwear to the slipcase.
