The Folio Society, London, 1991. Hardcover. The book is in very good condition, which is bound in deep red shot silk with gilt titling and decoration, top of page block dyed blue as issued. Dry point etchings by Philippe Jullian and the cover by Brian Paine. The book comes with its green slipcase printed to resemble faux leather, which has some slight damage to one corner (pictured).
Chéri was originally published in France in 1920. The title character's true name is Fred Peloux, but he is known as Chéri to almost everyone, except, usually, to his wife.
