The book is in excellent condition and quarter bound in dark brown artificial leather, blocked in gold. Dark brown cloth boards with a design in red, cream, and gold by John Vernon Lord. Dark brown topstain and endleaves. Illustrated with a frontispiece, plus 15 colour plates in text. The slipcase has some shelfwear and there is a small inscription of previous owner to endpaper.
