The book is in like new condition, published in red cloth with gilt titles and decorations, including an illustration to the front cover and gilt lettering to spine. The slipcase is in very good condition, with some shelfwear.
A collection of numerous fairy tales from the famous storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, all of which are illustrated by W. Heath Robinson with both black and white and Robinson's charming and subtle watercolors.
