Rare and First edition.
Published by George Routledge and Co., London (1858). The illustrations were drawn by the artist and lithographer, Otto Speckter (1807-71) and engraved by the brothers, George (1815-1902) and Edward (1817-1905) Dalziel, with rhymes translated from the German of F. Hey by Henry Dulcken.
The book is in a fair condition, with previous owner marks next to the different rhymes and an inscription from 1911 to the inside front cover, which someone has tried to remove.
