The books are in excellent condition, with cloth backed patterned boards and gilt titled spines. The slipcase is in excellent condition with only minimal shelfwear, and is illustrated on all sides. All of the books contain coloured litograph plates by Glynn Boyd Harte and are introduced by Bernard Levin.
The set includes six of Forster's most well-known works such as A Room With A View, Howards End and A Passage To India.
