The book is in excellent condition and bound with crushed dark gold silk covered boards with boldly legible gilt stamped lettering and calligraphy.
Translated, with an introduction and commentary from his 1993 Ballantine original, by Roger T. Ames, and preface for this Edition by Rupert Smith. The slipcase has some shelfwear but it is minimal and has no impact on the book.
