There are list of illustrations, extracts from Lloyd's index and list, the Beaufort scale, and three appendices. Illustrated end pages, showing the route taken by the sailing ship. The text is illustrated with three inserts of eight pages each of black-and-white photographs. Photographic cloth covered boards with metallic copper coloured titles to the back strip. Burnt orange coloured slipcase. The book covers the authors' reminiscences of sailing the four masted sailing ship, Moshulu, from Australia to Ireland around Cape Horn.
