The book is in excellent condition and bound in quarter black morocco, boards illustrated in black, red, and gilt with design by the illustrator. Top edges red. 16 black and white wood engraved illustrations by Simon Brett. The slipcase has some shelfwear and there is a small inscription of previous owner to endpaper.
