PUblished by the Folio Society, London in 1994. The book is in excellent condition with brown pictorial cloth with gilt titles. The illustrations are based on original black and white drawings by Edward Detmold, recreated in colour by David Eccles. Contained in brown publisher's slipcase in fine condition.
First published in 1895, it features five stories about Mowgli and three unrelated stories, all but one set in India, most of which Kipling wrote while living in Vermont.
