First Folio Society Edition. Published in 1959. The book is in excellent condition, especially for its age and there is minimal wear to the gilt lettering on the spine, as well as the gilt crest and design to the covers. The book does not come with a slipcase. Edited by Roger Lockyer and introduced by C.V. Wedgwood. 
 
This book is a contemporary account taken from the Memoirs of Sir Herbert and John Rushworth. No one who reads this book will easily forget the portrait of the King as the shadows closed round him and the use of original sources, especially taken from the memoirs of Sir Herbert and John Rushworth.
