The book is in very good condition with sage green decorated cloth with pasted down monochrome illustration of Ratty and Mole on the front. Dragonfly design, as well as lettering in gilt, plus the book is encased in a gilt patterned slipcase, which is in very good condition. Illustrated endpapers. There is slight fading to the spine which is reflected in the price.
Beautiful edition with many fine colour and monochrome illustrations by Charles Van Sandwyk. Frontis has a colour illustration of Ratty with his Hamper. Text follows the First Edition of 1908.
