Published by the Heritage Press, New York in 1960.

The book is in very good condition, bound in original gilt-tooled cloth, with pictorial to front panel. It comes housed in dark blue slipcase, which has some shelfwear, but is sturdy. Introduction by Norman H. Strouse and illustrated by Lynton Lamb.

One of Wells' better known novels outside the genre of science-fiction, it remains surprisingly relevant today in its critique of capitalism, the social system and the philosophical questions of behavior and responsibility.
